LG V20 reviews are looking positive so far despite Verizon launching the device early but there are some users who are reporting that the glass casing on the rear camera breaks easily.

The LG V20 boasts spectacular specs such as an improved Hi-Fi DAC and a dual 16MP rear camera setup which is similar to the iPhone 7. It also has a 5.7-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 resulting in a clear 513 ppi pixel density.

While the rest of the phone does work well and fast, there are some users frustrated with the physical aspect of the device. The LG V20's glass for the rear camera reportedly breaks easily even with just a scratch, 9 to 5 Google has learned.

There are even reports of the glass just shattering even without doing anything. One user reported that the glass just broke because the LED flashlight was turned on way too long.

YouTube user JerryRigEverything also tested an LG V20 by trying to scratch it after removing the protective film. The glass broke after it was scratched easily even without a blunt force hitting it.

One user believes that the glass process for the LG V20's rear camera casing was not finished and that there was still stress on the glass leading it to be fragile. LG has not yet commented on the reports regarding the problem.

Interested users who want to buy the phone can still do so. Verizon has been offering the LG V20 since October 20, Headlines & Global News reported. Those who preordered from AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile have to wait until October 28 when the device finally launches.

Verizon does offer the phone but through online purchases only. Those who preordered have already gotten the phones but those who just bought could expect it to be shipped earlier than October 27.

LG V20 costs around $770 on both T-Mobile and Verizon offers. The device can be bought through the monthly payment scheme with data which is a good offer for those looking to use it on the go without having to rely on Wi-Fi connections.
