The latest "Rise of the Tomb Raider" update 1.04 has been launched for the PlayStation 4. Players report that they have experienced crashes after installing the latest update.

According to Reddit, the developers have released a new update recently for the video game. The update can take up the PS4 storage for 446 MB, so players are advised to clear up some space before downloading the update.

Update 1.04 has reduced input latency of the video game, which has plagued it for a while. Aside from the usual bug-fixes and improved stability, the patch has also made improvements to the 4K image quality and frame rate for the PlayStation 4 Pro. This means that it has a better support now for the PS4 Pro when it is launched.

The new update makes the PS4 version of the game work well like the PC and Xbox 360 ports on it. It also gave more visual improvements over the Xbox One version.

Displaying an error code CE-34878-0, the latest update is causing problems to players who own "Rise of the Tomb Raider," according to NeoGaf. The game now crashes every five seconds when the players launch the game on their console systems. This has made them upset and scared that it might damage their video game and hardware.

For the players who have not installed the update yet, it is important that they should not install yet. They will have to wait for another update to fix this problem. Forum posters said that it might be due to the past DDoS attack on PSN recently that this problem surfaced.

For the unfortunate players who have installed the update, there is still some good news for them. They are advised to disconnect their PS4 console systems from the network. This small fix has fixed the problem for now, but other owners are still testing if it will work in the long run.

Recently, "Rise of the tomb Raider" had its day one update when it was launched on the PS4. It added the PlayStation VR support and made other improvements for the video game.
