‘Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo’ finale (episode 20) spoilers: Sad ending for Wang So and Hae Soo, Wang Wook dies

SBS' "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," also known as "Scarlet Heart Goryeo" is nearing its finale. The fan-favourite show starring Lee Joon-gi (Wang So), Lee Ji-eun (Hae Soo/Go Ha-jin) and Kang Ha-neul (Wang Wook) will come to a close with final episode 20. The show is expected to reveal how Go Ha-jin's journey back in time comes to an end. Here are spoilers teasing the potential end of the series. Read on to find out how it all comes to an end.

"Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" premiered in August 2016. With high ratings, the show became a household name. Based on the Chinese novel "Bu Bu Jing Xing" by Tong Hua, the series depicts the story of a 21^st century woman, Go Ha-jin, who was transported to the time when Goryeo Dynasty reigned Korea. She found herself trapped in the body of a young girl, Hae Soo. Here, she falls in love with fourth prince Wang So, who is determined to take the throne and become the king despite political wars in the kingdom.

"Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" will air its finale next week. The penultimate segment, episode 19, will air on Oct. 30, followed by the final segment, episode 20, on Nov. 1. It is expected to reveal how Hae Soo's story comes to an end. Also, fans are eager to find out will Hae Soo and Wang So end up together.  

In the latest episode, Wang So was crowned as the King Gwangjong and reunites with Hae Soo. The two are living like a couple but they are yet to be married. Unfortunately, Hae Soo cannot become the queen. Wang Wook tells Wang So that a scarred woman cannot be allowed to marry the king. Will Hae Soo end up being Wang So's concubine and nothing more?

According to iTech Post, in the Chinese version of the "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," the king never married Ruo Xi. She reportedly ended up being a mistress to the king.

Meanwhilrumorsurs are that Go Ha-jin will come back to the 21^st century in the finale (episode 20) where she will meet a man like Wang So. After dealing with failure and disappointment, Wang Wook will meet his fate.

Fans must note that these are mere speculations. They must take the information with a grain of salt. Actually what happens in the finale remains to be seen.
