BTS came in first place with a total score of 52.91 percent. Following them is I.O.I and EXO in the second and third place, respectively. It was then trailed by TWICE, Sechskies, Lim Chang-Jung, Red Velvet, INFINITE, Park Hyo Sin, Black Pink, and AOA.

Head of Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation, Gu Changhwan, clarified that there are huge changes in brand power rankings due to the immense success of BTS' second full album titled "Wings." The album, which was released on Oct. 10, charted at number one spot on iTunes in more than 26 countries.

BTS' second full-album also debuted at number 26 on the Billboard 200, marking the highest chart rank for a K-pop album ever. They are also the first K-pop group to enter the chart with 3 consecutive albums.

"If you take a look at the actual data, the buzz quantity BTS receive globally overwhelms the amount of buzz created domestically," Gu said in a statement obtained by 10 Asia. "BTS achieved such incredible record without promoting in the US or producing a single English song."

Gu goes ahead to say that BTS is an idol group that makes the best use of their SNS (social networking site) accounts. He added that the seven-member group is producing new records through global SNS platforms like YouTube.

The boy band, which consists of V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, Rap Monster, Jimin, and J-Hope, are known for their large social media presence. In March 2015, BTS was named by Forbes as the most retweeted artist on Twitter.
