Palmer told Screenrant that she would love to play Talia in "The Batman" joining Affleck as he reprises his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman. She also cited Marion Cottilard's role as Talia in Christopher Nolan's third Batman film, "The Dark Knight Rises" as her inspiration.

However, an updated report TheWrap reporter Umberto Gonzales revealed that neither Talia nor her father Ra's will appear in "The Batman" or any DCEU movie anytime soon. Talia in the comics, is the daughter of Ra's al Ghul an heir to the demon in commanding the League of Assassins. Both Batman and Talia had numerous encounters as allies, enemies and even lovers. Talia will eventually sire a child from Bruce named Damien, who is the latest incarnation of Robin and a future Batman.

In other news, Affleck gave an update regarding the script for "The Batman" as "The Accountant" star stated that he is taking things one step at a time in writing it alongside Geoff Johns to deliver a great story for the Dark Knight, Cinemablend reported.

Warner Bros finally confirmed in April that a new Batman movie was in development, giving Affleck's iteration of the Cape Crusader his first opportunity to shine on his own. Nevertheless, Affleck has been trying not to reveal too much on how the movie is progressing.

Previous reports revealed that Affleck's co-star Kristen Bell pitched her cause in playing Robin in "The Batman" film. Affleck on the other hand, is unsure whether add the "Pitch Perfect" actress in "The Batman", nor did he want a Robin in the film. However, "Magic Mike" star Joe Manganiello supports the ideo of Kendrick being Robin as he posted a photo on Instagram the two posing each other side-by-side with the caption "#Deathstroke and #Robin".

BossLogic also supported the idea for Kendrick being Robin as he tweeted an edited photo of her being Robin along with Manganiello being Deathstroke. Interestingly, the Kendrick's version Robin looks like Carrie Kelly version in Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns".

Warner Bros. has not announced a release date for "The Batman" solo film.
