In last week's episode of Total Bellas, Brie Bella revealed that her husband, Daniel Bryan, is suffering from depression for the past ten years. For this week's show, Bryan received more bad news regarding his in-ring future.

The former WWE World Heavyweight champion retired from wrestling due to several head injuries but mainly due to concussions. He still had hopes to return to the ring by consulting other doctors about his condition.

However, those doctors informed him that there is no chance that he will be competing in the ring ever again. It was a devastating blow for the 34-year-old superstar, who has dedicated his whole life to wrestling.

"He's just not in a good place. Ever since he had his surgeries, to losing his dad, to then losing his career...I just think Bryan's been holding so much inside," Brie told her sister Nikki in the latest teaser for Total Bellas on the E! Network.

"This morning we got a phone call from those doctors that Bryan went to go see, they had bad news. And I really think Bryan thought that he was gonna get back into the ring and the doctors said that there isn't a chance," she added.

It should be noted that Bryan had several undiagnosed concussions before his WWE career and it ultimately cost him his career. Nevertheless, he had an amazing career wherein he main evented WrestleMania XXX and won the WWE World Championship.

During his short reign, Bryan was able to get married to Brie in an amazing ceremony but the bad news kept on coming. His dad died days later, followed by Connor Michalek, the cancer patient that inspired Bryan during his run at the top.

On top of all of that, Bryan received more bad news when doctors found out that he had to undergo neck surgery. He had to relinquish the WWE World Championship and he was sidelined for almost a year. He returned to win the Intercontinental championship at WrestleMania 31 but his head injuries were too much to ignore.

The leader of YES! Movement retired from in-ring competition last February 8 in front of his hometown of Seattle, per WWE.com. Months later, he was hired by Shane McMahon to be SmackDown Live's general manager.

As of this moment, Bryan has done a wonderful job as the blue brand's GM and he is now the star of his own TV show along with her lovely wife. They are also expecting their first child together, a daughter. Check out the video below for the latest trailer for Total Bellas.
