NIS America has revealed the debut trailer of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita exclusive "God Wars Future Past." The Limited Edition of the game and its contents has also been revealed.
According to the official website of the video game, the debut trailer, which can be viewed below, was recently revealed by the game company. It gave a short depiction of what the game was all about and its story. It also revealed the release date of the game, which will be in early 2017.
According to the official store of NIS America, the game will have a standard and Limited Edition on both platforms. The standard copy will cost $39.99 on PS Vita, while the PS4 version will cost $49.99. The Limited Edition will cost $79.99 on the PS4, while the PS Vita version will be $74.99, and it will only be available on the official store.
The Limited Edition will have a special collector's box, the video game for PS4 or PS Vita, and a detailed Art Book. It will also come with the soundtrack disc, a cloth poster, and a pocket mirror that has a sign familiar to the game.
"God Wars Future Past" is a story of the three nations Fuji, Izumo, and Hyuga in the land of Mizuho. The citizens in this land never liked fighting, always honored the ancestral spirits, and they bonded with nature. Over time, the citizens changed when they started cultivating crops, fighting in battles, using metal, and many more that would disrupt the harmony of nature.
Mizuho suffered different natural disasters due to the many violations the citizens made. This made the Queen of Mizuho choose a drastic measure, which was to sacrifice her daughter Sakuya to the mountain, confine her daughter Kaguya within a bamboo seal, and then disappeared. After 13 years, Princess Kaguya grows up, escapes her fate as a sacrifice, and journeys across Mizuho with his friend Kintaro to find out the truth.
"God Wars Future Past" is a game with the theme of Japanese tradition. Players will be able to experience the stories of the people they meet on Kaguya's journey, and meet the Myriad gods.
Players will be able to customize 14 playable characters from more than 30 classes with 400+ skills. They can also customize these characters with more than 250 unique pieces of equipment.
