According to an official post on the Pokémon GO website, the game's development team issued a few notes that could occur on the next update: One is the statement that "Professor Willow discovered that Eggs have different patterns depending on the distance required to hatch them."

The mentioned note could translate with Niantic presumably differentiating various types of eggs by making them appear distinguishable, one way is through color coordination.

In Pokémon GO, there are three types of eggs. Players can collect and try to hatch 2 km eggs, 5 km eggs, and 10 km eggs. Once the update is released, players can better organize their eggs in their backpacks as the eggs should appear color-coded by the distance required to hatch them: Two km eggs have green spots, 5 km eggs have orange spots, and 10 km eggs have purple spots, GameRant reported.

Another improvement expected on the next update is the Pokémon type icons that have been added to the information screen for each Pokémon, which enable players to easily tell which one is better against a certain type of Pokémon. This is an advantage for trainers' gameplay while forming their league of Pokémon creatures in the game.

In addition, those who purchased Niantic's Pokémon GO Plus accessory will get the low battery indicator in the update, which will indicate when the accessory needs to be recharged.

According to 9to5Google, starting on Oct. 26, Pokémon GO trainers will receive double the amount of candies that they normally receive from catching, hatching, and transferring Pokémon in the game, as part of the game's Halloween event. And through the "buddy" system feature, trainers will be able to "earn Candy four times as fast" during the season.

Also, during this time period, there will be a higher chance that trainers will come across certain Halloween-themed Pokémon more often in various regions, such as Gastly, Gengar, Haunter, Zubat, Golbat, Drowzee, and Hypno.
