Fans have been waiting for the "Rick and Morty" Season 3 release date as they want to know what happened to the Smiths family after grandpa has been stuck in prison.
On the previous season of "Rick and Morty," Rick sacrificed himself to be put in the inter galactic prison just so that the Smiths family will have a normal life back on Earth. Normal could have a new meaning considering that their Earth is now occupied the federal space government.
"Rick and Morty" Season 3 production seems to have already been done as all of the required creative materials have been submitted to the showrunners possibly for approval, Gamenguide has learned. There was a teaser that was recently released showing Rick in somewhat of a sausage form trying to escape from huge rats and insects which could possibly be his way of escaping the inter galactic prison.
Meanwhile on Earth, Jerry finally gets a job from the federal alien government. There is no telling what his job is yet but Beth and the rest of the family seems to be still in shock from what happened.
"Rick and Morty" Season 3 has been confirmed that to air before 2017 which means it can be expected around November or December 2016, Inverse reported. The news was confirmed by show writers Sarah Cariener and Erica Rosbe during a podcast of "Chicks Who Script."
Michael, the alien who was crushed under the spaceship of Rick, could be making a return to the show. He could see Rick in the prison where he is possibly a guard and could also give him a hard time during his stay prompting the decision to escape.
As for Rick Sanchez's crimes, they still remain vague and mysterious. It could be one of many including messing up with timelines, which has not been covered yet by the show.
The showrunners have already said that time travel is way too complicated even for the show. However, they did not say that they will not try it out considering that the series is sci-fi themed.
"Rick and Morty" Season 3 release date can be expected around November or December. Fans will just have to wait a little bit longer to see what the show could offer.
