Park Bo-Gum and Kim Yoo-Jung have been confirmed to attend this year's Asia Artist Awards. The two Hallyu stars portrayed Crown Prince Lee Yeong and Hong Ra-On in the KBS 2TV drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds."
On Nov. 1, Tuesday, more artists were added to the line-up, as the organizing committee announced both Park and Kim will attend as a representative for Korean actors in the upcoming Asia Artist Awards, Soompi reported. The annual event will take place on Nov. 16 at the Kyung Hee University's Grand Peace Hall, Seoul, South Korea.
In association with Money Today Media and Global Entertainment Media Star News, the annual global festival praises artists who rose to international fame in the past year. The victors of Asia Artists Awards will be selected through fan voting.
A total of 166 actors and 160 musical artists are nominated for public voting. In the actor's section, "Moon Light Drawn by Clouds" star Park Bo-Gum is competing with "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" star Byun Baek Hyun, while "The K2" actress Im Yoona and "Descendants of the Sun's" Song Hye-Kyo are vying for the female section.
The list of attendees for the upcoming Asia Artist Awards includes Jin Goo, Park Shin-Hye, Kim Ji-Won, Nam Goong-Min, Sung Hoon, Lee Jeong-Shin, Nana, Ryu Jun-Yeol, Gwak Si-Yang, Park Hye-Soo and Shin Hyun-Soo. They will be joined by K-pop idols that include SEVENTEEN, TWICE, BTS, B.A.P, VIXX, AOA and Block B.
Tickets for this year's Asia Artist Awards will be available online at Hana Ticket. Fans can also vote in favor of their favorite artist, male actor, and female actor at the official Asia Artist Awards website.
Meanwhile, the "Reply 1988" star will hold an autograph event on Nov. 10 at the HanaTour headquarters in Jongno-Gu, Seoul. It is intended to promote HanaTour's 10th anniversary online International Travel Show.
However, only 100 fans, who will be chosen at random from applicants, can attend the said autograph event. Applications will be accepted from Monday to Sunday through the event's official website.
