Rumors are doing the rounds that the Google device will have better specifications than iPad Pro. If reports are anything to go by, the tech giant Google is working on a tablet in partnership with HTC.

The new device will be known as Pixel instead of Nexus 7 since the search giant has killed off the Nexus brands. Speculations are doing the rounds that the successors of Google Nexus 7 will be rebranded as Pixel.

According to reports, the rumored Google Nexus 7 2016 will run the newest Andromeda OS (operating system that consists some features of Chrome operating system) making it the best tablet of this year surpassing the forthcoming iPad Pro range.

The Nexus 7 2016 will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 64GB for internal storage capacity, 4GB of memory and Adreno 530 GPU. It is expected that the forthcoming tablet will feature 5100 mAh battery and a USB-C port.

At the starting of September, @evleaks, trusted leakster, said that the Huawei-built 7- inch tablet was on track for launch before the end of 2016. This is as good as confirmation that a Nexus 7 is in the works; however, it is not essentially called the Nexus 7.

According to several reports, the operating system will give the Google Nexus 7 2016 desktop capabilities that will improve multi-tasking features. The rumored tablet is expected to come with an AMOLED display.

Moreover, the upcoming Nexus 7 2016 will have a 13-megapixel rear camera.

According to the brand's representative, HTC is excited to work with the search giant to make the new Pixel devices. The two companies have a long history together, from creating the HTC Dream, the Nexus One and Desire and One smartphones running the innovative and newest versions of Android.

Meanwhile, Huawei said that they are happy to have worked with the search giant on the Google Nexus 6P, and they will have more collaborations in the time to come. The company is committed to making the world's most innovative and compelling devices, featuring exceptional performance and outstanding user experience.
