The Kickstarter page for "Shattered: Tale of the Forgotten King" has gone live recently. The game developers have also released a lengthy trailer.
According to the official Kickstarter page of the video game, Redlock Studios has gone to the website to get $87,748 for additional funds. It has also appeared recently on the Square Enix Collective since it will be supporting the game studio for this specific video game.
The video game is a combination of a 2D platformer and a 3D action game in development. It will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC. The game studio has also launched a long trailer, which can be viewed below, that shows its gameplay, characters, and the world.
In the video game, players will experience a gameplay that has 2D platforming and puzzle solving. It will have 12 boss fights in it, which changes into a 3D action format. They will have to evade, roll, and try to combine combos in a hack and slash type combat.
Another feature in the video game is the classic RPG leveling system, a crafting system, and a language system that the players should learn through their journey. If they learn more about the strange language, they can get a better and clearer game ending.
According to the official website of the video game, its story is set in a strange and shattered world, which is ruled by the Elder Gods. It follows the Wanderer character on his journey to find the memories of his past in the world of Hypnos. Players will explore the land to find the character's memories, and discover what has happened to the land.
Players will meet the Whisperer, which is the first character they will meet in the game. It is a strange being that has been hiding in Limbo since the King went missing. He will join the Wanderer through his journey, but he looks not trustworthy at all.
Another character in the video game is the King, which is the God of Hypnos. He was the one to give birth to the world and all the living beings in it. No one knows why he left the throne vacant or where is his location now, but the Whisperer revealed that the King could answer all his inquiries.
