"Arrow" fans will finally meet the deadly Talia al Ghul in Season 5.

Producers of the CW smash has tapped "Continuum" actress Lexi Doig to play the villainous role, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Talia al Ghul, who's also the half-sister of Nyssa, is described as a "worldly and cultured elite warrior who doesn't pick sides but creates her own." She will make her "Arrow" debut in episode 10 this season.

According to the site, the arrival of Talia on "Arrow" Season 5 could entail major ramifications if the writers opt to follow the comics. This is due to Talia's history with Batman, whom she had a child with in the source material. While it seems unlikely that Bruce Wayne's alterego will appear on "Arrow," producers of the series are still considering the possibility.

"At the end of the day, it'd be so awesome to have Batman on the show," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told the publication.

"I don't think that will be happening anytime soon, but you never know... one day. One thing we're always saying... we ended up with a lot more DC Comics characters becoming part of the show than we had ever planned."

In other casting news, Arrow has also tapped "The Walking Dead" actress Juliana Harkavy to play a significant character in Season 5. According to Variety, Harkavy will play the role of Tina Boland - a detective who used to work at Central City's PD. Boland is described as "brash yet tactful, tough, speaks her mind and is not the easiest person to impress."

As to how she will figure in Season 5's storyline, Boland will arrive in Central City to scrutinize the works of the Green Arrow and his new band of recruits that includes Wild Dog, Artemis, Curtis Holt, and Ragman. Viewers will first see Boland in the back half of the season.

"Arrow" Season 5 airs every Wednesday at 8PM on the CW.
