It was just last April when the prequel spin-off series of "Breaking Bad," "Better Call Saul," aired the last episode of its second installment. With the show already renewed for "Better Call Saul" Season 3 last March, recent reports claim that Walter White (Bryan Cranston) might have an involvement in the upcoming season, along with other "Breaking Bad" cast members.

Sources say that Cranston was caught noting during an event about his book, "A Life in Parts," that he intends to let things go in relation to his character, Walter White, UPROXX reported. The actor added that although he would love to reprise his role, he would rather not do it, and that he would love fans to miss the character than play the role again then eventually fans might lose their interest with it.

However, the same publication cited that after a reunion with some of his colleagues in "Breaking Bad," Cranston felt nostalgic and revamped about playing the role again. He added that he told the executive producer of "Better Call Saul," Vince Gilligan, that he is interested in having an appearance on the show. The actor also noted that it might be difficult for Gilligan to bring his character to "Better Call Saul" Season 3 due to the timeline difference, but he expressed his confidence with the show's executive producer that he can pull this off.

On the other note, Game N Guide reported that Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) may have an appearance in "Better Call Saul" Season 3. It was also said that Gus will have a major role to fill in the upcoming season due to the rumors that he might be the one who shall groom Jimmy McGill into the popular drug trader, Saul Goodman. Sources also said that the betrayal of Chuck (Michael McKean) to his brother is going to be the spark for Jimmy transforming into Saul.

As of the moment, there is still no specific air date for "Better Call Saul" Season 3, but fans are hoping to see the series by the first quarter of 2017.
