Apple Inc. and HP have released new laptops this year; the MacBook Pro 2016 and HP Spectre x360. These two devices will battle out against each other to know which one must be on top.
Techvicity had made a keen comparison between the MacBook Pro 2016 and HP Spectre x360. When it comes with the display, Apple's pride features a 67 percent higher contrast ratio, 67 percent brighter and 25 percent more color density than its forerunners. Also, this device comes with a Touch Bar, which lets the users to edit photos and videos, answer calls and emails, in the place of the function keys. Using the Touch Bar, users can have a taste of a touchscreen experience.
On the other hand, the HP Spectre x360 sports a sharp, crisp and detailed 13-inch 1080p IPS display. This device also arrives with a touchscreen which is missing in the MacBook Pro. In addition, HP Spectre x360 is a convertible 2-in-1 laptop, meaning it can be used as a tablet too.
Apple MacBook Pro and HP Spectre x360 both boasts its lightness. In numbers the HP Spectre x360 weighs 2.58 pounds and 0.54 inches thick while the MacBook weighs 3.02 pounds and is 0.59 inches thick. HP's pride features a maximum battery life of 15 hours as it has a bigger battery of 57.8 watts. Meanwhile, the MacBook Pro delivers a maximum 10 hours of battery life and comes with a 49.2-watt battery.
For connectivity, the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 and HP Spectre x360 have similarities and the only difference is the USB ports. Apple has ditched the MagSafe port and incorporates four identical USB-C ports and a single headphone jack. On the other hand, the HP Spectre x360 comes with one USB-A port, two USB-C ports and a headphone jack.
When it comes with the price, Gamenguide reported that MacBook Pro 2016 is tagged at $1,499 as the lowest. Meanwhile, HP Spectre x360 is available on market shelves at $1,050. These handsets have almost $500 difference.
Based on the above mentioned price, specs and features of MacBook Pro 2016 and HP Spectre x360, the choice is still up to the consumers. Nevertheless, it based on the information it seems that both laptops were powerful.
