Born in London, Clarke is a British citizen and is not voting in the U.S. elections. The Clinton meme as the "mother of dragons" was posted following the first presidential debate by Jessica Chastain. This time, the Targaryen actress herself reposted the content.

Clarke is an advocate of gender equality and is not afraid to express her opinion, according to Elite Daily. She previously complained about the lack of male nudity on HBO's multi Emmy-awarding drama. The entertainment industry is said to have issues of gender pay gap, inequality and sexism.

Another Clinton supporter is the author of the books on which the massive hit is based on, George R.R. Martin. After participating in election-related conversations on social media, the author spoke to volunteers in New Mexico for Clinton. He encouraged early voting to volunteers in Santa Fe on Nov. 6, Sunday, CNN reported.

The 68-year-old author took a respite from writing for the elections. He has still to finish two of his remaining books of the acclaimed series, "The Winds of Winter" and "A Dream of Spring."

Another "Game of Thrones" actress Lena Headey who plays Cersie Lannister is also known to voice her opinion on various issues. She recently wrote an emotional letter about the massive global refugee crisis, urging the world for more support. She also supports a female to be the U.S. president, First Lady Michelle Obama.

Headey was impressed with the first lady's speech at the Democratic National Convention in July. The first lady is a supporter of Clinton.

Several female characters in "Game of Thrones" demonstrate power and fearlessness, just like Targaryen and Lannister. This year's Season 6 ended with Headey's character, sitting on the Iron Throne, reigning the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros.
