After four years of hiatus, Warner Bros. Animation finally succumbed to fans' request for "Young Justice" Season 3, although no official release date has been made public.
The second season of "Young Justice" last aired in July 2013. Now, fans are speculating on what they can expect in the upcoming season of the animated series. Comic Book detailed that Warner Bros. Animation and Warner Digital Series are "excited to bring the show back for this loyal fan base." Apart from that, the company also emphasized that both old and new viewers of the animated series will surely be able to continue the adventure of the previous season and discover new characters as the new plot would unfold.
Included in the new characters to be introduced next season is a new antagonist. In retrospect, Season 2 ended with the introduction of Darkseid. Thus, there is a possibility that Darkseid will be the main antagonist in the upcoming "Young Justice" Season 3. His shadow works and manipulation in the previous season will likely be given some light in the next installment of the animated series.
Fans would be delighted to know that insignificant changes were only made in the backend of the production. It has been confirmed that American comic book and animation genius Greg Weisman, would still be part of the production; Weisman is 'returning to the series" particularly highlighted by DC Comics.
But as early as today, there has already been a disclaimer being made by Weisman on his Twitter account regarding the expectations and suggestion of excited fans worldwide. For just days after the disclosure of "Young Justice" Season 3, various suggestions and comments had flooded Weisman's social media account. The "Young Justice" creator, as a result, told fans that every time fans tweet a suggestion on his feed, it makes it "HARDER" for him to do what the fans want.
And for that matter, it is highly advisable the fans should wait and simple see how the latest installment of Young Justice will unfold, especially that the production team and Warner Bros. are closed lips about the details. It would be best to relax and simply wait for further updates, so stay tuned and be informed for more details soon.
