Ubisoft has released different titles all for free in the previous months, according to AttackOfTheFanboy. "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" was the first game released for free in June, followed by the first "Splinter Cell" game in July. Ubisoft released "Rayman Origins" in August, "The Crew" was released in September and "Beyond Good & Evil" followed in October. All titles are available only in the course of their designated months and will not be obtainable next month.

The Ubisoft 30th anniversary game promotion will last until December. News and announcements have yet to reveal the last free game in the 30th-anniversary lineup.

"Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon" was released in May 2013 for PC, PlayStation 3 via PlayStation Network and Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade. '"Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon" is the stand-alone expansion to "Far Cry 3" and the eighth installment in the whole Far Cry franchise. The game was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Shanghai.

The Far Cry spin-off is a first-person, retro-futuristic open world mixed with parodied action films and video game references from the 80's. The player controls protagonist Sargent Rex Colt, a Mark IV cyber-commando in the year 2007, according to the Steam description of the game. "Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon" spawned a sequel titled "Trials of the Blood Dragon", which released on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
