At the time when legalizing marijuana is being highly criticized by all level of people including celebrities, Miley Cyrus favors the new step taken by the California government.

Cyrus, who supported Hillary Clinton in the recent presidential election, was surely heartbroken with the news of Donald Trump win. She mentioned for the election, "Hopefully we adjust and we accept everyone for who they are, and, so, Donald Trump, I accept you. This hurts to say, but I even accept you as President of the United States, and that's fine, because, now, I want to be a hopeful hippie."

California has legalized marijuana for recreational use and Cyrus is pleased with the new law, according to Hollywood LifeThe step by California government will allow people to use marijuana for recreational purpose only for using the benefit it has to offer. More states are now voicing to legalize marijuana, Fortune pointed out. California, Massachusetts, and Nevada asked to legalize marijuana for recreational and adult use while, Arkansas, Florida, and North Dakota have already legalized it for medical use.

The count of states that have legalized marijuana in some form is 29 while seven have legalized it for recreational use. So, a legitimate marijuana industry will now be bigger and better and it can generate $22 billion annual sells within four years. The current earning is $7 billion, The Verge reported.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani are against the legalization although they are quite close to Trump. Vice President-elect Mike Pence is also an opponent to the cannabis. While so many powerful people are against the legalization, from the trend it is quite clear that 60 percent of the population want it to be legalized in some form. With California, the largest economy of USA, taking the step, the industry will grow thrice.

Many investors who never thought about investing in the weed production will now be focusing their investment in the production and thus eye the profit it has to offer.
