The latest details for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature a PS4 Pro support next month, a new demo in Japan and a Nintendo Switch version coming soon.

Square Enix announced several details on "Final Fantasy XV" during its Active Time Report as director Hajime Tabata revealed that the sequel will be getting two patch updates for the PlayStation 4 Pro. The first update will have a framerate of 60fps while locking the resolution to 1080p in "Final Fantasy XV".

The second update will feaure a 4K resolution, while keeping the 30fps framerate. It is unknown yet if 4K will be achieved natively or through other techniques like upscaling or checkerboard rendering. Tabata stated that the framerate of "Final Fantasy XV" is somewhere between 4-50fps in its current build, but Square Enix continues to work on the game to reach the 60fps target, Siliconera reported.

In addition, Square Enix launched the "Judgement Disc" demo of "Final Fantasy XV" in the Japanese PlayStation and Xbox store as the demo is available this week.

In other news, Tabata has expressed his interest in Nintendo's latest video game console, Nintendo Switch as he told Gameblog (via Techno Buffalo) the impressive features and wants to make video game titles for it.

While Tabata did not mention a Nintendo Switch version of "Final Fantasy XV", it would be an interesting to see the sequel in a new video game console, since Square Enix previously hinted that they will add support for the PlayStation 4 Pro and the Xbox One S, not to mention a PC version after one year.

Square Enix previously announced a load of DLC coming to "Final Fantasy XV", which featured online multiplayer for the game, were in other players can control Gladiolus, Ignis and Prompto. The online multiplayer will feature more locations that are not found in the main game.

Episode Gladiolus will be the first DLC to come out followed by Episode Ignis and Episode Prompto being the last one. Game producer Haruyoshi Sawatari stated that each of the character-based episodes will feature new gameplay elements and systems that change the way the gameplay works, based around the personality and the style of character that stars in them.

"Final Fantasy XV" will launch on Nov. 29 for PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
