International trailer for "Rouge One: A Star Wars Story" is now released and it gives a strong indication of an invincible rebellion is about to happen.

Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise, compiling a film series created by George Lucas. With their first release, "Star Wars" (1977), the franchise became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon. The movie was followed by equally successful sequels including "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980) and "Return of the Jedi" (1983). More recently, a sequel trilogy (Episode VII - IX) began its journey with the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" in 2015.

Last month, an exclusive US trailer for "Rouge One: A Star Wars Story" was released but with this new international trailer, the audience will surely get a better scope to introspect inside the storyline of this upcoming movie. This new tease for "Rouge One" showcases a horde of new footages that were missing in the last US trailer. The footage features a gang of Rebels assigned with the task of getting the plans for the Empire's super weapon. In this trailer, Jyn finally utters those words "Death Star" and there are visions of the space station moving, Wired reported.

New shots of this international trailer also offer a meaningful flash back of Jyn's childhood. Jyn's mother is depicted as a strong believer of The Force and she puts a necklace with a clear crystal around Jyn's neck which she still wears as an adult indicating that it is a kyber crystal, used to create lightsabers and raw material that Empire seeks on the planet Jedha, to make the main weapon on the Death Star.

Moreover, it looks like the upcoming film will mark a new kind of Star Wars movie that will explore some unfamiliar territory with lesser known facts and characters. The cinematography of the "Rouge One" is far better than "The Force Awaken", Slash Film suggested.

"Rouge One : A Star Wars Story", directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn and Forest Whitakar, hits US theaters on Dec 16.
