According to Forbes, Coulson and Fitz along with Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider (Gabriel Luna) will become ghosts as some point after Robbie's uncle Eli Morrow (José Zúñiga) powered up the machine tha turned Lucy Bauer ( Lilli Birdsell) and the rest of the scientist into ghost in the first place.

Coulson and his team battled that Lucy and his ghost as they are after a demonic book called the Darkhold that drove into madness. Lucy kidnap Eli so that he could help her restore her physical form. S.H.I.E.L.D. along with Robbie staged a rescue on Eli and stop Lucy from destroying the world.

However, it turns out that Eli manipulated Coulson, Robbie and S.H.I.E.L.D. in order to gain access to the Darkhold and use it gain god-like powers of his own. The publication adds that their disappearance can become the "crux" of the remaining episodes.

In addition, Gregg made it clear in an interview that all three characters are not dead, but they are trapped somewhere and must find a way to get back. A little "Doctor Strange" factor since the film introduces multiple dimensions, so its possible that Coulson, Fitz and Robbie are trapped in another plain of existance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Meanwhile, series star Gabriel Luna seeming confirmed that his character Robbie Reyes will getting his own "Ghost Rider" spin-off sereis.

Luna told ComicBook that the "Ghost Rider" series as potential to happen and character's possibilities are endless, even teasing it as a film or Netflix series.

it was revealed during episode 6 that Robbie got his Ghost Rider powers from a "Good Samaritan" that saved both him and his brother Gabe's (Lorenzo James Henrie) life after they are ambushed by the hired gangsters. While Robbie told everyone it was the "devil" who saved him, it turns that the original Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze helped him by passing on the Spirit of Vengeance promising to take out the people responsible from what happened to him and his brother.

Although, Johnny did not take a human form in the episode, the episode proves that there is more just one "Ghost Rider" in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as they are more of them that could possibly make in appearance to "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 soon.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 will return on Nov. 29 10pm on ABC.
