The Digital Deluxe Edition of "NiOh" will consist of the full video game and a weapon pack with five new weapons to gain advantage in fighting off demons at the start. Players will also get a PlayStation 4 Avatar for their profiles and a Season Pass, which will allow them to gain upcoming downloadable contents in the future.

According to the official blog of PlayStation, Koei Tecmo revealed the pre-order bonuses that players can receive for pre-ordering the video game early, in Standard or Deluxe Editions. They can receive the "Nioh" armor that the main protagonist could wear in-game. The design was inspired by the ancient statues that stand guard at temples in Japan.

Players will get the official "Nioh" Dynamic Theme for the PS4 console system as a pre-order bonus too. For those who will pre-order the video game, they can get the Crimson Master Armor, which is based from the armor of the legendary samurai Yukimura Sanada. They can also get this armor if they pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition on PlayStation Store or purchase it in the first two weeks after launch.

Game director Yosuke Hayashi said in a statement that they created the video game to be a very challenging one. They have put a lot of thought into the design of its difficulty. He gave an example of an enemy that throws a quick jab at the player and damages them in a large way, and it was very difficult to avoid and against the attack.

Hayashi said that they designed the enemies this time around to still have the same level of damage. The only difference is they redesigned the movement of the jab so that players can have a split second to evade or block the dangerous attack.

With the alpha and beta testing of the video game has undergone, they have ultimately shaped "NiOh" for the better. They thanked the fans and testers of their feedback, which has relieved them of their fear that they might have not made the fans satisfied.
