As Microsoft released its Xbox One S, Sony will be fighting back with the launch of PlayStation 4 Pro. The said gaming console was said to be the most powerful and impressive available in the market.

As for the specs, NewsFactor stated that PS4 Pro seems to be a vertically extended version of the regular PS4 having slightly curved edges giving it a smoother outline. In numbers it measured 295 x 327 x 55mm which is bigger and heavier than both the new PS4 Slim and the original model.

The PlayStation 4 Pro has arrived featuring HDMI cable, DualShock controller and power lead. This gaming console has everything users need in the box, and the set-up process takes seconds. Additionally, the PS4 Pro gives its users a notification that their television may be capable of HDR and 4K.

This device has a central processing unit with 30% speed boost from 1.6GHz to 2.1GHz. Meanwhile the graphics processing unit has leapt from 1.84 TFLOPs in the original machine to 4.2 TFLOPs, a notable increase in performance. This improvement is necessary to render game visuals and run streaming video at ultra HD 4K resolution. The Pro also delivers an extra USB port at the rear and it also brings back the Optical Digital port for connection to certain headsets and AV receivers. It has also support for 802.11ac wi-fi that may improve user's broadband connection speed.

When it comes to the price, PC Advisor reported that the PlayStation 4 Pro will set users back £349 in the UK. This gaming console is also available to order right now. Additionally, for those buyers in the UK who wanted to purchase online, they have three options. They could just visit GAME or Argos right now and order the PS4 Pro for £349.99, or alternatively they can head to Amazon or Tesco and order the console for slightly cheaper at £332.

With the above mentioned specs it really indicates that the PlayStation4 is really an impressive and powerful console.
