Borussia Dortmund has snapped a four-game winless skid after thrashing cellar-dwelling side Hamburg, 5-2, on the road at the Imtech Arena on Nov. 5 before the international break, as per the Guardian.

Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored four goals in the contest to lead head coach Thomas Tuchel's side while midfielder Nicolai Müller netted both goals for Hamburg in the high-scoring match.

Aubameyang scored the first three goals of the game in the fourth, 23rd, and 27th minutes to give the visitors a 3-0 lead at the half. He added a fourth goal three minutes after the restart with a right-footed shot from the right side of the box off an assist by American winger Christian Pulisic.

Müller then cut the lead down to 4-1 with a left-footed strike in the 55th as he directed Gian-Luca Waldschmidt through-ball assist towards the net of Dortmund keeper Roman Burki.

The scoring continued for Die Borussen as French midfielder Ousmane Dembélé buried his own left-footer in the 76th minute with the assist this time coming from Aubameyang.

Müller scored his second goal of the game with nine minutes left before full-time to make the final count more respectable.
