After passing the certification for its Bluetooth, the low-end 2017 Samsung Galaxy A3 has recently received its Wi-Fi Certification for its model number SM-A320F, as its listing appears in the official online databases Geekbench and GFX Bench.

The said certification appeared online after Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) passed the Galaxy A3 (2017) with Wi-Fi certification. Android Headlines reported that the certification process shows that the device will be supporting dual band WiFi, translating into the common 2.4GHz frequency, as well as 5.0GHz frequency.

According to Phone Arena, the documentation also shows the model number of the upcoming handset, which is SM-A320F. This matches the model number listed on GFXBench, Zauba and also Geekbench listing which was spotted earlier.

In the GFXBench listing, Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) sports a 4.7-inch screen, a 1,280x720 resolution, an octa core CPU clocking at 1.5GHz, an ARM Mali-T830 GPU, and an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.

Aside from having Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the device features 2GB of RAM with 8GB expandable internal storage, 13MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP front-facing one geared with face detection, flash and touch focus. Pedometer and barometer are the two features expected from the handset.

Other rumored features and specs of Galaxy A3 include non-removable battery pack, super AMOLED display (720 x 1280 pixels resolution) in 312 ppi pixel density equipped with capacitive touchscreen feature, Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for the screen protector, 3.5 mm headphone jack and camera features that include touch focus, face detection, Geo-tagging and panorama.

Aside from the mentioned specs, Galaxy A3 (2017) may also come in 16GB internal memory variant expandable up to 128GB via microSD card and packed with a 2,300 mAh battery.

In addition, in the GSMArena listing, the handset is likely to come in four color variants: White, Gold, Black and Pink.

With the current specs revealed on the handset's development, it is plausible that the Galaxy A3 will hit the store shelves before the year 2016 ends specifically in the month of December. However, the South Korean technology company has not revealed the release date of its upcoming Galaxy A3 (2017) yet.
