"Quantico" actress Priyanka Chopra recently opened up about the pressures of leading a television series. The 34-year-old Indian actress stated she finds television more serious than films.

"TV is intense," Chopra told The Hindustan Times. "It's 16-hour days, five to six times a week. Over eight to nine scenes a day. So yeah, it's crazy pressure."

Chopra added "Quantico" is way different from other shows, revealing that it demands a lot more from its actors. Since she plays the lead, the Indian actress needs to work harder to keep up the same intensity in the show. She then admitted that there was a lot of pressure about the show's second season.

"Yes, there is pressure, especially when you look at just how big the show was," Chopra said. "Not only was it a huge success in the US, but it was also licensed to over 212 territories in over 56 languages."

In "Quantico," Chopra plays a promising FBI agent, Alexandra "Alex" Parrish, who becomes a prime suspect in a terrorist attack. At the end of Season 1, Alex is fired by the FBI and is given the chance to work for the CIA.

"Quantico" Season 2 is slated to air its winter finale episode on Nov. 27. Titled "Odenvy," the episode will see Lydia (Tracy Ifeachor) and Owen Hall (Blair Underwood) teaching the group about the necessity of lying and cutting off relationships, as per The Futon Critic.

It is a perfect timing for Alex since she is feeling disconnected from Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin) both personally and professionally. The episode will also follow Alex and company's attempt in destroying the biological weapon.

Chopra, who started her acting career with 2002's "Humraaz," is currently preparing for her Hollywood film debut. She has been cast to play the main antagonist, Victoria Leeds, in the upcoming action comedy film "Baywatch."

In the same interview, Chopra stated films are more languid. She clarified that the film is not as demanding as television since one just have to do a couple of scenes in a day.

Starring Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, "Baywatch" follows a devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) and a new recruit, Matt Brody (Efron). Together, the two uncover a criminal plot that debilitates the future of the Bay. It will be released on May 19, 2017 by Paramount Pictures.
