After fans were left disappointed when Marvel Entertainment and Walt Disney Pictures pulled "Inhumans" from its release schedule, fanboys now have renewed hope in the potential franchise when it was announced that an "Inhumans" Marvel TV series is being developed. The television show will be an extension of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the characters in the "Inhumans" Marvel TV series will exist in the same timeline as the Avengers and Doctor Strange.

The upcoming "Inhumans" Marvel TV series is expected to be focusing on the Inhuman royal family in the Marvel comics canon, the New York Times reported. The "Inhumans" Marvel TV series will be a partnership between the Disney-owned network ABC, Marvel Entertainment and iMax as an "event" marketed to Marvel film and comic book fans. So far, no person has been announced to be joining the cast yet but it is expected that ABC and Marvel will opt for lesser known actors as bigger names are more difficult to pin down for a commitment of a 22-episode seasons on network television.

The development of the "Inhumans" Marvel TV series comes a few months after "Agent Carter" season 3 was cancelled on ABC, Cinema Blend reported. Despite receiving critical acclaim, the first two seasons before the expected "Agent Carter" season 3 never really took off in the ratings game. Star Hayley Atwell was also killed off in the MCU movie "Captain America: Civil War" in the summer season so she had to move on with new non-Marvel series "Conviction."

The TV release date for the "Inhumans" Marvel TV series has not been announced yet but it was disclosed that it will be in the fall of 2017, with the first two episodes starting first in Imax screens. Yibada English will be posting more updates and spoilers on the "Inhumans" Marvel TV series and "Agent Carter" season 3 in the coming months.
