The story of this video game was written by Ed Greenwood, who was also the creator of "Dungeons and Dragons'" popular "Forgotten Realms." The story is all about a young girl named Zia who had magical powers since she was born.

The problem was that Zia was born in an era and a kingdom where magic was banned. Due to that reality in their kingdom, she has set out to train on her own. This is where the game's core mechanic of spell creation comes into play.

Zia discovers along the way that there are special runes scattered around their world, which can be combined in different ways to create new spells. There are actually a lot of ways to combine these runes, which is why players are encouraged to master the system to create unique spells that no one has ever seen before.

The game developers said that when they created "Mages of Mystralia," they wanted the players to feel like a mage. They wanted them to create their own spells and master the ways of magic in their own way with little help. They created a rich, powerful, and an intuitive spell creation system to make it a better experience for the players.

Borealys Games are inviting players to attend the PlayStation Experience in Anaheim on Dec. 3 and 4 and visit their booth. They can try out a complete area of the video game, which is filled with different types of opponents, puzzles, and bonus secrets for them to find and unlock.

According to the official website of "Mages of Mystralia," the game developers revealed that there is a Webcomic of the video game. It explains the lore of the game's universe, and some hints of what the story is all about.
