Stoke City is currently on the rise as the team has been unbeaten in their last six matches. The team is settled at the 12th spot at the moment from being in the bottom three of the league table in the first few rounds of competitions.

The Potters have snapped their three-game winning run in their last game, though, as they were held to a 1-1 tie by West Ham United on the road at the London Stadium on Nov. 5, as per Goal.

After a goalless first half of action, an own goal by Stoke City midfielder Glenn Whelan gave the lead to the hosts in the 65th minute.

However, head coach Mark Hughes' squad was able to equalize the count ten minutes later with a shot into an empty net by Spanish winger Bojan after compatriot and West Ham goalkeeper Adrian erroneously left the net to defend an incoming Jonathan Walters.

Both teams went scoreless after that as they settled for the draw and shared a point in the overall standings.

Meanwhile, Bournemouth suffered a second straight loss with a humiliating 1-2 defeat to a 10-man Sunderland side at their home ground of Vitality Stadium on Nov. 5, SkySports reported.

The Cherries opened the game's scoring in the 11th minute with a goal from English midfielder Dan Gosling as it looked like another loss for cellar-dwelling Sunderland.

The Black Cats then leveled the count in the 33rd with a surprising goal from Nigerian forward Victor Anichebe from a very difficult angle.

Bournemouth got a break in the 59th when Sunderland midfielder Steven Pienaar was booked for a second yellow and sent off the pitch, giving them a one-man advantage for the rest of the match.

However, head coach Eddie Howe's side failed to capitalize on their advantage as they conceded the winning goal to Sunderland with a penalty kick by Jermaine Defoe in the 74th.
