The smartphone manufacturers are working hard to deliver the newest operating system from the biggest search engine company; Google. Now, Samsung is reportedly planning to roll out the Android 7.0 Nougat for its Galaxy Note 5 and Tab S2 devices.

Samsung Electronics continued delivering Marshmallow firmware update to its handsets and could now be releasing the Nougat version, GottaBeMobile reported. Android 7.0 has features that make the life of the smartphone user easier and more convenient overall.

Google Nexus smartphones are the ones who have been blessed with the new Android operating system as well as the Pixel models plus the new LG V20. Fans have all anticipated the name to be Nutella but the search engine giant opted for Nougat instead while still following the sweet naming convention. Other smartphone brands such as Sony, HTC and LG are still expected to receive the updated software albeit at a later date.

Samsung is allegedly working on Android 7.0 update for the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Tab S2 which are almost outdated, Android Headlines has learned. The said firmware is not expected to roll out for just another couple of months. However, it is possible that the South Korean tech company will release the beta version via the Galaxy Beta Program app in the near future.

Galaxy Note 5 users should expect the Android 7.0 Nougat features, improvements and enhancements that are made for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge build. There are also rumors that the Galaxy Note 7 features will make their way to the Note 5 through the new Nougat update.

Meanwhile, the build for the Galaxy Tab S2 will also be somewhat different because of the tablet build. Still, users on both the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy Tab S2 can still expect the same common Nougat features such as Doze which helps immensely in saving the battery life of the Android devices.

With the Android 7.0 Nougat beta slowly rolling out, it would not be surprising if Samsung does finally release the stable build for their devices. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Tab S2 users will just have to wait for announcements.
