People on Earth could not find intelligent life beyond the planet because its remains control all aspects of the physical world. Professor Caleb Scharf, an astrophysicist at Columbia University, cited as examples gravity and the speed of light.

His radical theory states that behind the universe’s mysteries is alien life. Scharf said ancient non-human life forms “morphed into the physical world and are the driving force behind mind-boggling quantum physics and phenomena like dark matter,” The Sun reported.

Scharf said his theory would explain the great mysteries of the cosmos and provides the answer why science has not found intelligent life outside Earth. He said there is the possibility that the behavior of subatomic particles and the universe’s expansion are forms of alien life.

He raised the possibility that “hyper-advanced life” is not only external but likely all around, the professor said in the article that he wrote for Nautilus, a science journal. Scharf said life might be the equations, not life might be in the equations.

His theory is that when alien life forms that are intelligent enough to reach us would have already turned itself into living machines.

“If you’re a civilization that has learned how to encode living systems into different [materials], all you need to do is build a normal-matter-to-dark-matter data-transfer system: a dark matter 3D printer,” Scharf explained. He stressed that people have not witnessed complex life besides our own since it already exists around us.

He added that one of the largest and most challenging question human can ask about the cosmos is to figure out how much life is in the universe and what it means. Scharf said it means stepping outside traditional scientific boundaries.
