A great companion has emerged for those who hates sleeping alone. Japanese inventor Koichi Uchimura has come up with an unique product called "Ita-Supo." It is a talking pillow, which verbally responds to the user's touch.
The innovation is unique in its own way as the pillow responds according to the type of touch and is not an ordinary battery operated machine. RocketNews24 reported that the pillow does not have the ordinary button-activated speaker installed in it.
The pillow groans and moans, depending on the type and place where the user is rubbing. Not only that, an aggressive stroke is not welcome and the pillow shouts "Hey, that hurts!" or "Hey, hands off!" if the user gets too grabby.
Uchimura has also installed a system where if the user is repeatedly aggressive with the pillow, it stops responding. On the other hand, consistent gentle touch results in positive responses like, "What's gonna happen if I start to love you even more than I already do?"
The pillowcase features the face and torso of a blonde female anime character on the outside. Inside, two sensors are placed in pouches located in the breast and crotch area.
'Ita-Supo' is preloaded with five hundred speech patterns, with a series of planned expansions, fully downloadable via smartphone, The Vine reported. A YouTube video guide is also available in which Uchimura proudly calls the pillow his wife named Rina Makuraba. Other version of the pillow available for sale are named Shion Kamitsuki and Shiho Natsuki.
Although Uchimra refers to his invention as his wife, he is equally eager to share or even sell his anime spouse. He is currently promoting his product at crowdfunding site Makuake. The young inventor has already raised $2,560. The product is on sale and can be owned for $167.
The developer of the talking pillow used to be a researcher , but now has dedicated his life to fulfill people's obsessive interests.
