The day after Thanksgiving is the best time to grab that flagship smartphone and other high-end devices as deals and discounts are aplenty, thanks to competing vendors and sellers. Confirmed so far with huge price offs or easy payment schemes are the iPhone 7 from Apple, the Galaxy S7/S7 Edge by Samsung and the latest and greatest from Google - the Pixel and Pixel XL.

In a report, 9to5Google listed the best devices to pick not only for Black Friday or Cyber Monday this 2016 but also for the duration of the year's holiday season. Early Christmas shoppers can very well start this coming Friday on their adventure and should be on the list is the Galaxy S7 and its curved twin the Galaxy S7 Edge.

From the biggies like Best Buy, Target, Walmart and Sam's Club, the Samsung flagship can be had with buyers getting immediate savings of $120 from the original sticker price. And when acquired with contracts from AT&T, Sprint and Verizon the payment can be spread for two years with the cash damage each month for as low as $30.

Of note too is Samsung's latest announcement that the GS7 will soon unbox in Jet Black finish, obviously in answer to the hugely popular Jet Black iPhone 7, but this flavor is unlike to get out in time for Black Friday or Cyber Monday. For sure, it's a shoo-in for the coming holidays.

Also on the table are two Pixel phones, exclusive for Verizon. There is no indication if the likes of Best Buy and Walmart will sell the handsets at marked down prices but Verizon is making it easier to own the Android 7.1 Nougat device - for as low as $27 per month.

Or Android fans can instead ride into the rising OnePlus wave with the freshly released OnePlus 3T. It's unlikely that the 3T will be the subject of Black Friday deals but when considering the following specs - Snapdragon 821 with 6GB RAM, camera combo of 16MP on rear and 8MP on front, 64GB of internal memory and a 5.5-inch AMOLED display in 1080p screen resolution - paying $439 one off seems fully justified.

But for those in the iOS sphere, on top of their list must be any of the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, which are the front liners in the juicy gadget deals found on Best Buy, Target and Walmart, according to 9to5Mac. The report said that in all three stores the 2017 iPhones are available with no cash out or $0 down payment.

The deal involves lock-in period with a bonus gift card of $250, the credit value of which can only be used on separate or future purchases. Included too on the Black Friday 2016 price cut bonanza are the Apple Watch, the iPads (Pro, Air and Mini) and the Macs with the discounts ranging between $100 and $150 depending on the promo deals offered by sellers.
