In terms of design, the sedan has promptly derived styling hints coming from several vast and older car patrons as it's apparently evident by the kidney-bean grille at the front. Furthermore, this is decorated at its both ends by headlamps facilitating BMW's corona rings although in white LEDs with squared off edges lightly.

With proportionate silhouette and cabin room, the 1-Series sedan carries a length of 4,456mm and a width of 1,803mm. To provide the car passengers with the best comfort, the cabin room is also accommodated with sufficient space.

The car also has a start-stop system, Head-Up Display (HUD) and the regular BMW theme which is facilitated for the dials behind the steering wheel.

In an article published at Indiancarbikes, it is described that BMW 1-Series sedan sponsors a lot of recreation with the best theme and ambiance that is also prevailing in other BMWs as well. With 8-inch display on the center console, the cabin is harbored with a beige and black treatment. The center console is paired with the BMW-iDrive system and control knob as placed behind the gear lever.

Until now, BMW never launched any competing model to the Audi A3 and the Mercedes-Benz CLA. This is where exactly, the premium compact sedan segment has been brought in by BMW as earlier the company did not have a product to add to its portfolio.  Now, at Guangzhou Motor Show, called as the Compact sedan concept where after BMW released the first image of the car followed by its announcement to launch in China at the same time.
