"Tom Clancy's The Division" Survival expansion will be released soon on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. The patch notes for update 1.5 have also been revealed.
According to the official website of the video game, the Survival DLC will be available on Nov. 22 for the Xbox One and PC, while the PS4 will get it on Dec. 20. The expansion can be acquired through the Season Pass, but it can also be purchased individually.
Players will be trying to survive against a snowstorm and the elements, while they also encounter dangerous and deadly hunters. Players will have to use survival mechanics since there is a permanent death being featured in this mode. It will host 24 players and takes place in the modified version of Manhattan, which they used the whole open world, and it is session based that lasts up to two hours.
Along with the release of the Survival DLC, Ubisoft will release the free update with the same release date. According to the official website of Steam, update 1.5 is the natural continuation and conclusion to update 1.4. The latest update will open up new areas, add new weapons, equipment, and many more.
Update 1.5 will introduce the new World Tier 5, which has an increase in enemy levels and Gear Score. Enemies will be level 34 and the maximum Gear Score for weapons and gear dropped will be 256. Due to the big changes the game company has made with 1.4, they felt that the increase is needed.
Six new Gear Items will be introduced with the upcoming update. There is one piece available for each Gear Slot, and these will have unique talents. One of the Named Gears is Ferro's oxygen mask, which allows players to move and shoot under the burn status effect.
12 new weapon types and four new Named weapons will be introduced with the new update. The B.L.I.N.D. rifle has also been added to the game, and it will now be called the Urban MDR Assault Rifle.
Changes to the economy were implemented like the activities on higher World Tiers will now have the rewards increased. Vendors will now sell items based on the player's Gear Score and not the World Tier. The stash size has also been increased from 70 to 150 items.
