"While You're Sleeping" is one step closer to reality, with PD Oh Choong-Hwan signing on as director. The upcoming drama, which stars Lee Jong-Suk and miss A's Bae Suzy, will air on Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) network.

The good news came to light when an industry source spilled the beans to local newsoutlet News Nate on Nov. 22, Tuesday. It is said that "While You're Sleeping" will be directed by Oh Choong-Hwan, whose previous projects include this year's hit SBS drama "Doctors" and the 2013-2014 pan-Asia hit "My Love From the Star."

"While You Were Sleeping" follows a woman who can see unfortunate events that will happen to others through her dreams and a prosecutor (Lee) who does all that he can to prevent the woman's dreams from coming true. The latter recently confirmed to take over the lead male role, while the miss A member is still considering the offer positively.

The SBS drama will reunite Lee and Suzy with screenwriter Park Hye-Run, whom the Hallyu stars have previously worked with on in 2014-2015's "Pinocchio" and 2011's "Dream High," respectively.

Produced by SidusHQ, "While You Were Sleeping" is expected to finish its casting before the year ends. The SBS drama is said to be a 100 percent pre-produced with its filming slated to begin in early 2017.

Not much is known about "While You Were Sleeping" aside from the fact that it was given a Wednesday-Thursday time slot and will premiere in July of 2017. More details about the project will be revealed soon.

Meanwhile, Lee, who started his acting career with 2010's "Prosecutor Princess," will star next in Lotte Duty-Free's "First Seven Kisses," All Kpop reported. The web drama, which also stars Lee Min-Ho, Ji Chang-Wook, Lee Joon-Gi, EXO's Kai and 2PM's Taecyeon, will be released online in mid-December.
