Desktops

Best Buy is slashing the price tag of an HP Tower with 27-inch monitor about 43 percent from $1,050 to $600, according to Wired. The PC/monitor combo is a steal of a deal and a great choice for a home office.

Laptops/Notebooks

Best Buy has discounted select models of Apple MacBook up to $200. Apple is somewhat of a Scrooge McDuck during the holiday season but it is offering a few hundred bucks off MacBooks starting at $1,100.

Costco, meanwhile, is offering a 14-inch Google Chromebook with 1080p IPS display for $230 starting on November 25, Friday. The portable computer with a 22 percent-off sale is bundled with a wireless mouse.
