Fans believe the upcoming chapter of "One Piece" will focus on the history of Lola's supposed wedding in the past and Sanji's attempt to escape the Whole Cake Island while freeing Luffy and Nami from their cells. As predicted, Big Mom and Luffy will have a one on one fight that would spell a make or break for the whole Straw Hat crew.
In chapter 837, fans were surprised to know that Big Mom actually hates Lola. The revelation took place after Luffy and Nami tried to convince the ruthless commander that her daughter is their friend. After revealing that Lola gave them Big Mom's Vivre Card, the latter was infuriated knowing her daughter is still alive.
Big Mom then revealed that Lola has disobeyed her orders when she ran away from Whole Cake Island. The latter was supposed to marry someone who will allow Big Mom to gain power to become the Pirate King.
Some fans over at Reddit are speculating Lola was arranged to wed the King of Giants or someone from the clan. Since Big Mom knows very well that they are an innately strong race, an alliance with them would surely lead her to become Pirate King. However, since Lola ran away, the Giants clan refused since then to take part in anything that concerns the Sweet Commander.
Meanwhile, the Germa 66 were kind of spooked when they visited the Magical Library. Big Mom showed books that trapped people from the inside, with some even screaming for help. Although startled with the revelation, the Germa is something up their sleeve aside from the alliance.
Fans also believe that when Luffy tried to pick a fight with Big Mom, he was serious with it. Although Big Mom did not listen to the Straw Hat pirate as her main concern is her daughter's wedding with Sanji, a battle between them would still ensue. During the wedding day, Sanji will break his deal and will find a way to escape from the Whole Cake Chateau while freeing Luffy and Nami from the prisoner's cell.
Meanwhile, another fan at Manga Smart Blog predicted Smoothie will not be a challenging match for Brook. The author instead believes that Amande would be a perfect opponent for him as they have similar capabilities of cutting their rivals.
