This was not the first time the exes reunited to celebrate a family Thanksgiving. The same publication revealed that Carey and Cannon got together same time last year.

According to the entertainment news website, the ex-couple filed for divorce in December 2014 which has been finalized less than a month ago, a day before news confirmed Carey's split with fiancé James Packer.

Both remained in a friendly relationship for the sake of their children.

In past interviews, Cannon had been very vocal about maintaining a good relationship with Carey for their twins, whom he described as their top priority.

Moreover, Carey also made headlines last Thanksgiving due to her "ridiculous outfit" when she went out to do some grocery shopping.

Fox News reported the "All I Want for Christmas" singer wore a white body suit which revealed her cleavage, paired with skinny jeans and sky-high heels. She was also seen wearing large diamond necklaces and posing with a pair of pineapples.

Carey posted some pictures of her recent trip to Whole Foods and her pre-dinner preparations on her Instagram account, where some of her followers criticized her of a "photoshopping" an image. Her Instagram photo of her holding a pie and a can of whipped cream had some eagle-eyed fans noticing the distorted mirror up by her shoulder and warped cabinet by her right knee, according to ELLE.

People were also quick to point this out in the comments section. Some described the incident as one of the "worst photoshopping" they had seen, while others downplayed the incident and instead focused on how happy Carey looks in the photo.

The singer seems unfazed by the photoshop issue. ELLE observed how Carey continued posting pictures of her family holiday in Hawaii and did not even bother to remove the said "photoshopped" Instagram post from her account.
