Jame Elsworth fulfilled his dream of being a WWE star following the events that occurred during the Nov. 22 edition of WWE SmackDown. He got a big boost from Dean Ambrose, someone he may eventually betray in the future.

James Elsworth’s signing was imminent, using his character as his ticket. He defeated AJ Styles in a ladder match, getting some assist from Ambrose, WWE.com reported.

The thing about Elsworth is that he is not physically gifted and is seen no different from the likes of other WWE mascots like “Hornswoggle”. The “chin-less” one will go on to serve as Ambrose’s sidekick though he could be given some sideshows moving forward.

While all that is over and done with, it begs to ask what the WWE truly has planned for James Elsworth. He isn’t likely a match to the physically built stars on the roster and placing him in storylines comes with a big risk.

Though the WWE is for show, Elsworth’s tenure will depend on the direction he will be headed into. The possibilities are endless but one thing that most want to see is how he will detach himself from the “Lunatic Fringe”, Bleacher Report reported.

Elsworth is undoubtedly Ambrose’s biggest fan and supporter but most have seen in the past how things can instantly turn. A slight miscalculation will likely be the sign of their partnership being trashed, especially if it costs Ambrose a chance to be WWE heavyweight champion once more.

The immediate thing that comes to mind is AJ Styles who has had his long-running feud with Ambrose and Elsworth. Rumors have it that either Styles or Ambrose will be tied up to a feud with the Undertaker, something that could go down at WWE TLC.

The Undertaker targeting Styles would make sense, a battle showing two iconic stars. On the other hand, Ambrose vs. the “Dead Man” could equally be interesting with Elsworth on the side.

Booking Elsworth in singles competition would be strange and something that may not totally sit well with the fans. That said, Elsworth may be nothing more than a sideshow unless the WWE risks inserting him into key matches.
