Three years after giving birth to daughter Everly Elizabeth Maiselle, Channing Tatum and wife Jenna Dewan are reportedly ready to expand their little family even more. The couple is said to be actively trying to get pregnant with a second baby.

The exciting news came to light when a source told Life & Style Weekly that Tatum and Dewan want to get pregnant as soon as possible. It is said that the couple is trying all that they can for another pregnancy.

As per the source, the "Magic Mike XXL" actor has always been interested in having more babies, but his hectic schedule and work commitments keep getting in the way. Nonetheless, Dewan already explained to him that he will always be busy and there will never be a 'right time', the source added.

"[Jenna] wants to get pregnant in 2017 and give Everly a sibling to play with," the source added. "This time, they're hoping for a boy."

Tatum and Dewan, who began dating in 2006, tied the knots in July 2009 at the Church Estates Vineyards in Malibu, California. The couple welcomed their first daughter in 2013.

Meanwhile, Tatum and the "500 Days of Summer" actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt are making a musical movie together. Speaking to Tom Green on "The Hits" radio breakfast show, as cited by The Daily Star, the latter said he and Tatum have wanted to do a musical for years, hoping that the as-yet-untitled project works out.

Levitt then revealed the script of the as-yet-untitled project is being written by Michael Bacall, whose previous projects include the 2012 action-comedy film "21 Jump Street." However, just because the script is being written by Bacall, it does not mean the project will end up hitting the big screen, he stressed.
