This week's Monday Night Raw that features the women's championship match between Charlotte and Sasha Banks reportedly draws 3.110 million viewers over three hours, which was a jump from the fall-out of Survivor Series (3.002 million viewers).
Marc Middleton provided details of the story via Lords of Pain:
"For this week's show, the first hour drew 3.163 million viewers, the second hour drew 3.130 million viewers and the final hour drew 3.039 million viewers.
RAW was #4 on cable for the night in viewership, behind the NFL's Monday Night Football, The O'Reilly Factor and The Five. RAW was #5 in the 18-49 demographic, behind the NFL, SportsCenter, Black Ink Crew and Love & Hip-Hop."
RAW general manager Mick Foley booked the match that would end the current rivalry run between Charlotte and Sasha Banks. After their first program ended in a double count-out, Foley revised the stipulation to a anywhere falls match and it would be the main event of the show.
Charlotte dominated her rival before a packed home crowd at Time Warner Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina. However, Banks' incredible resilience paid off in the end as she found a way to apply a modified Bank Statement on Charlotte (using the metal rails) for a submission victory.
Banks' victory marks her third reign as the RAW Women's Champion. This week's Monday Night RAW also marks the first time in 12 years two women close out a show on RAW. Charlotte and Banks also were on the main event of Hell in a Cell last October.
Speculation:
The ongoing rivalry between Charlotte and Banks is not yet over as they will reportedly do it again in the upcoming RAW pay-per-view at Road Block: End of the Line. Not only the series is currently leveled at 3-3, Charlotte has also a rematch clause to exercise.
