New details for "Final Fantasy XV" will feature issues on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro,as well as the PC version in the works soon.

Video game and technology website Digital Foundry released new details comparing the frame rate performance for "Final Fantasy XV" on both PS4 Pro visual settings and the standard PS4 version. Using version 1.02 of the game, the team ran a number of frame rate tests on the standard PS4 version, and both the high quality and lightweight modes available with the PS4 Pro settings.

While the High mode manages to increase the resolution and visual quality of "Final Fantasy XV", it suffers from a major frame pacing issue, causing the image on screen to not appear smooth, even if the frame is keeping up with the action on screen.

Surprisingly, the standard PS4 version stands above the High mode of the PS4 Pro and owners are advised to use the Lite graphics setting if they want the best way to play the game. While this mode is only capable of rendering up to 1080p resolution, it does not appear to suffer from nearly as many frame rate-related issues when playing in High mode, VG 24/7 reported.

In other news, it seems that Square Enix will likely be working on "Final Fantasy XV" for the PC platform since the the developers launched the game this week for the consoles.

Game director Hajime Tabata told Spanish based website Vida Extra (via WCCFTech) that it will take more than a year for the game to developed for the PC as they wanted to provide a better version of the game for users compared to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.

PC users were adamant about having "Final Fantasy XV" for the PC going to the point that they made online petition for Square Enix to think and reconsider several years back.

There is also rumors that Square Enix is planning a Nintendo Switch version due to the impressive features of the new console and wants to make video game titles for it.

While Tabata did not mention a Nintendo Switch version of "Final Fantasy XV", it would be an interesting to see the sequel in a new video game console, since Square Enix previously hinted that they will add support for the PlayStation 4 Pro and the Xbox One S, not to mention a PC version of the game after one year.

"Final Fantasy XV" is currently available for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
