Genoa zoomed ahead to a 3-0 lead with a brace from Argentine forward Giovanni Simeone in the third and 13th minutes and an own goal by Alex Sandro in the 29th. Juve was able to score a consolation goal in the 82nd courtesy of midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

Meanwhile, Atalanta is currently on a six-game winning run to climb to the fifth spot of the league table.
