The long overdue Square Enix title "Final Fantasy XV" has been officially released just recently, as fans of the long-running game franchise have been clamoring for it for about a decade now. Game analysts, on the other hand, took the game's latest sequel for a spin to see if it is truly worth wait.

According to Forbes, the game has been getting generally positive responses albeit being in circulation for just several days. Moreover, it also noted that most of the game buffs who got to try out the game seem to agree that "FFXV" has begged off from the series' usual penchant including its battle system that has gone from menu interface to real-time beat 'em up.

People at Gamespot noticed the opening note of the game that reads "A Final Fantasy for fans and first-timers." The publishing firm finds it a bit puzzling and even pointed out that a lot has changed during the time when the title was still in development especially the gamers' preferences.

Furthermore, the same publication added that despite its character's failure to wow its faithfuls, the game's stunning backdrop, and gameplay serve as its equalizer.

IGN, on the other hand, gave the new sequel an 8.2 rating and further explained that the game almost got things covered in a present-day "Final Fantasy" title. Nevertheless, it went on pointing out some of the exaggerated battle sequences that could have been done in a simple manner, though the review ended on a positive note saying that the game still has this fellow-feeling as it features the camaraderie among its protagonists.

Meanwhile, Polygon stated that long-time players and newbies may find some attributes within the game that might irk them. However, it also highlighted that the game features a lot of human emotions that future titles of the series can take a note of and be influenced with.
