Apple recently released the MacBook Pro 2016 and users are already finding problems with the device. There have been reports of graphical issues as well as battery life concerns from users.

The MacBook Pro 2016 was one of the highly-anticipated laptops and it turns out that Apple may have not done a good job at all. Several users are reporting problems with the graphics engine and even limited battery life which can be deal breakers for most people.

One user who installed an AMD Radeon Pro 460 GPU on the MacBook Pro 2016 had to send the laptop to an Apple store. This is because it always crashed when it transcoded video via Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Insider reported.

Apple's own engineers contacted the user to help them replicate the situation and they found out that the problem lies within the third-party software code and not with the laptop's hardware. There have been other reports from both the 13-inch and the 15-inch models of the MacBook Pro 2016 with or without the Touch Bar.

Users who may find themselves in the same situation are advised to make a Genius Bar appointment to document the case and they should contact Apple support for more instructions. Adobe may need to update their program as well as for the developers of the other apps as well.

Another rising problem is with the battery life of the latop. Several MacBook Pro 2016 users are reporting that their device's battery life does not even last more than half of the expected 10 hours claim from Apple, Mac Rumors has learned.

One MacRumors forum member said that he was only getting about 3 hours of casual Internet browsing with Chrome. Another user said that the longest they were able to browse with the laptop was just six hours and 30 minutes.

Apple has not commented on the issue but other users suggest that the brightness should be checked as well as if there are background processes running. The battery life should last at least half of the marketed 10 hours under normal usage.
