Again, it is in the latest chapter where Irene's affiliation with Erza has been revealed, confirming what almost everybody thought about her even since making debut several chapters ago. She is Erza's mother.

The surprising part in Irene's big revelation is her claim that she was once the Queen of the Dragons. The last panel of Chapter 513 showed a young Irene leading a group of Dragons.

The closing text of the issue also insinuates the idea that Irene was born in far earlier timeline than everybody else, in the period where Dragons still exist and lords over the world.

Different Timeline?

Now, here's what things get intriguing. Considering the fact that Irene was born thousands of years before the Fairy Tail story began, and claiming that she's the mother of Erza. Is it possible to think that Erza was born before Natsu and other Dragon Slayers were ever born?

Where's the father?

No offense to Larcade, but I know you've got no biological Mother. As for Erza, the Mother has already appeared, and now where's the father? By analyzing Irene's claim as the Queen of the Dragons, it's a bit easy to know where he is. As a matter of fact, I know you already knew the answer.

Erza's father is none other than the Fire Dragon King, Igneel. I mean, it's obvious. While Acnologia proclaims himself as the King of Dragons, there's only one Dragon in the world acknowledged and respected by his own kind, and that's Igneel. If this theory holds truth, then it's safe to say that Natsu is Erza's foster brother.
