King T'Challa of Wakanda bared his strong physique and superhuman dexterity when he debuted as Black Panther in "Captain America: Civil War." From his fight scenes against highly-trained and super-powered Avengers members, fans have been warned not to underestimate him. While he may appear to be a gentle, good-hearted guy, it appears that the upcoming Marvel hero may be hiding some secrets in his native Wakanda.

In a report by Cracked, it points out reasons why the Black Panther may be one of Marvel's most dangerous superheroes. For one, his kingdom of Wakanda holds the largest reserves of Vibranium, which is known to be one of the strongest metals on Earth. It is what Captain America's shield is made of and what Ultron fought the Avengers for.

This access to a vast source of Vibranium makes Wakanda home to technological innovation and advanced weaponry.

The theory also characterizes Black Panther as having the potential to be dictator. He was born into affluence and his family was influential. It is also said that he rules via militaristic monarchy and uses his powers to implement his will. Having these qualities in a leader can lead to chaos and destruction, and given the control the Black Panther has over the Vibranium, he can easily play the cards to his liking and can manipulate both friends and foes who might find interest in the material.

In the meantime, the "Black Panther" movie is currently under development at Marvel Studios. Viewers already know some of T'Challa's backstory from what they saw in "Captain America: Civil War," so there is a good chance that the solo "Black Panther" movie will not be an origin story.

According to Cinema Blend, it's likely the movie will pick up after the events in "Civil War" and will take place in Wakanda, where T'Challa has offered Bucky Barnes safe refuge. Chadwick Boseman is playing "Black Panther" in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"Black Panther" will be released in theaters on Feb. 16, 2018. The movie will be directed by Ryan Coogler, who wrote and directed "Creed."
