GOT7's JB and B.A.P's Youngjae recently featured in an episode of "Flower Boy Romance." However, the former gave comments on the show that angered certain netizens, who criticized him for being homophobic.

During the episode, JB and Youngjae were enjoying their hangout when they decided to go to a couples' café. The celebrity pair grabbed themselves a table when a certain remark made by Youngjae's seemed to make JB uncomfortable.

"I wanted to come here with you," Youngjae said. JB then replied, "This place is not for two boys...I might beat you up."

After the show aired on television, several netizens took to social media to express their anger over JB's comments, claiming they were insensitive and had a homophobic undertone. Some users even left comments on JB's bandmate Jackson's Instagram account asking him to talk to JB and tell him what he did was wrong.


However, some fans rushed to JB's defense, saying that the idol had no malicious intentions and his remarks were nothing more than banter between two close friends. JB and Youngjae filmed for the show on Nov. 21 and the episode aired on Nov. 29. On Naver TVCast and YouTube. The week before, we saw B1A4's Gongchan and Vixx's Hongbin showing off their bromance on the show.

The GOT7 leader and B.A.P's lead vocalist have been bromancing ever since their trainee days at JYP Entertainment. Youngjae eventually moved to TS Entertainment and made his debut with B.A.P in 2012 while JB debuted with GOT7 two years later.
